Hi! I've come to read your stuff finally...You didn't tell me you played French Horn?

On second thoughts, why should you tell me?...but anyway, it's great to come upon someone else that plays the instrument. There are all too few of us in the world!!

:-) Jamie Herrington Gorton replies: "Amen to that. I'm glad you swung by, I hope you enjoyed."

Hey, you know the Angler? Excellent. And you admire her work. That is well then, for my dark mistress is looking for people to join her in the fight against the fork master and her KAGS. Come to my library, and you shall see what I mean.

Hey-lo Jamie!!
I have updated my page, and I got a MOD's choice for my latest project - Elka.
Please come read, and I will return a favour.
And yes, that 100th commenter poem is still in the making. *cough* Sorry about the dee-lay.
It seems you have added newbies on your page. "Agency" I have yet not seen...I must read it.
Hope you are well, and keep writing!!

erm, when I say news reporting I mean journalism. I know you journalists hate that.

Hello Jamie, I enjoyed reading your prologue but if I may some suggestions. Your writing is very clean and articulate however lacking in emotion (not to be insulting) as I see this as a very good thing in unbiased (if thats possible) news reporting it tends to fall flat in creative writing. However your attention to detail certainly provides you with producing a world rich in intruging political detail and climate.
Now this is the seperation, you set up the world in a personless way to make it unemotional simply to describe what it is without opinion to anyone in the story, and I like that. However when getting into the characters this same style makes it hard to read, as writing is an extention of ones feeling described in perspective of a character or characters. I found it hard to relate my feelings when little were present.
You have immense potential and I look foward to reading more of your work.

I found your story "Blade" most fascinating, as i had a somewhat like that in my head but of a girl who got kidnapped then turned to be an adventurer, and then joined a guild for a fighting post, and went round helping people in there aid and quests, but i never got round to writing it but it is still in my head =) I REALLY loves this work, i have only seen 2 chapters will there be more? i hope so i would like to see her reunion with her mother.
I have applied to be a writer here, but i need to re-read the faqs and rules page, i am going to make a proffessional site for my stories, i just have a little site at the moment with 1 story and 1 poem on. but keep up the good work i enjoy living in your fantasy world in my reads! =)

Some time ago you left a post for someone that said you hoped to write & publish a spoof of fantasy. I have one posted right now if you'd like to see it.
